I've worked / volunteered as an educator for 4 years.

• 2 years, 7 months at a language center in Vietnam.
• 3 months at an English homestay in Vietnam.
• 3 weeks in public schools in Poland.
• 6 months in public schools in the US.
• 1 year at a public elementary school in South Korea.

I've taught:

• children ages 7 - 17 and adults.
• speaking / presentation skills.
• reading comprehension.
• pronunciation / phonics.
• critical thinking / debate.

Working at Yola

I most recently taught full-time at Yola, an English center in Hồ Chí Minh City, Việt Nam. I taught courses in tradional, hybrid, and online classrooms.

Most of my students were ages 8 - 14. I taught conversational skills, grammar, academic writing, literary skills, presentation skills, and debate skills.

I created EFL.Coach as a place to host and templatize the teaching materials and ideas that I've accumulated as an educator.

What began as a blog for resources has now become a passion project for programming web development.
